Regular VOS reports from NOAA R/Vs (2000-Nov. 2007) in ICOADS Release 2.5

year chart
Figure 1. Regular Voluntary Observing Ship (VOS) reports (identified by call sign) from NOAA Research Vessels (R/Vs) Jan 2000 through Nov 2007 by year. Note: This ends in Nov 2007 because starting in Dec 2007 the Global Telecommunication System (GTS) data from NOAA/NCEP have all ship call signs masked (arising from international ship security and commercial concerns), thus identifying the R/V data by call sign in those GTS data is currently impractical.
