Aim of MARCDAT-II:

To set priorities for the future development of marine climate data and products over the next four years.

Scope:

The workshop will be arranged along thematic lines, exploring the following topics as they relate to marine climate variables:
  • developing gridded data sets: combining/reconciling observations
  • quantifying data and analysis uncertainties
  • data base development and access
  • use of marine data in climate research
Participation:

By invitation, but we welcome self-nominations from potential attendees who feel they would have a highly relevant contribution to make. Please contact nick.rayner@metoffice.gov.uk
