Local Information
The workshop will be held in Gdynia, an 81-year-old city (pop. 260K) located in northern Poland, on the coast of the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Gdansk. CLIMAR-III is being organized locally by the Maritime Branch in Gdynia of the Polish Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW; 81-342 Gdynia, Waszyngtona Street 42, tel: +48 58 6288100, fax: +48 58 6288163). The meeting venue is located at the University of Gdansk, Institute of Oceanography, 81-378 Gdynia, Marszalka Pilsudskiego Av. 46. Technical facilities, including a laptop computer running MS Windows/Powerpoint, multimedia projector, overhead projector, and WiFi, will be available.
